Trim Video
Cut your video to exactly the segment you need — free, private, and entirely in your browser.
All processing happens in your browser — your video never leaves your device. The first run downloads the ~25 MB ffmpeg engine (cached after that).

Frequently asked questions
- Is my video uploaded to a server?
- No. Trimming runs entirely inside your browser. Your video is never sent anywhere.
- Why do I need to wait on the first run?
- The first time you use the tool, your browser downloads the ~25 MB ffmpeg engine and caches it. Subsequent trims start immediately.
- Will re-encoding change the quality?
- The tool tries a fast stream copy first, which is lossless and instant. Only if that fails (e.g. the container format needs it) does it re-encode with a high-quality preset.
- What formats are supported?
- Any video your browser can read — MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, and more. The output is always MP4.
