Frequently asked questions

Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. The files are read and merged entirely inside your browser, so your spreadsheets never leave your device.
How are columns matched?
Rows are matched by their header (column) names. If files share the same headers, they stack cleanly; any extra columns from a file are added to the combined sheet too.
Can I mix Excel and CSV files?
Yes. You can drop a mix of .xlsx, .xls and .csv files and they'll all be combined into one sheet.
Can I tell which file each row came from?
Yes — keep the “Source File” column option on and the merged sheet will include the original filename for every row.
