Mute Video
Remove the audio track from any video in seconds — no upload, no watermark, no re-encoding of the video stream.
All processing happens in your browser — your video never leaves your device. The first run downloads the ~25 MB ffmpeg engine (cached after that).

Frequently asked questions
- Is my video uploaded anywhere?
- No. The audio is stripped inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your video file stays on your device the entire time.
- Does it re-encode the video?
- No. The tool uses stream copy (-c:v copy) which simply removes the audio track without touching the video, so it is extremely fast and lossless.
- Will the output quality change?
- Because the video stream is copied directly, there is zero quality loss. Only the audio track is removed.
- What formats are supported?
- Any video format your browser can read — MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, and more. The output is always an MP4 file.
