Mute Video

Remove the audio track from any video in seconds — no upload, no watermark, no re-encoding of the video stream.

All processing happens in your browser — your video never leaves your device. The first run downloads the ~25 MB ffmpeg engine (cached after that).

Frequently asked questions

Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The audio is stripped inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your video file stays on your device the entire time.
Does it re-encode the video?
No. The tool uses stream copy (-c:v copy) which simply removes the audio track without touching the video, so it is extremely fast and lossless.
Will the output quality change?
Because the video stream is copied directly, there is zero quality loss. Only the audio track is removed.
What formats are supported?
Any video format your browser can read — MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, and more. The output is always an MP4 file.
