How to Compress Product Images for Lazada
Lazada bounced your product photo, and the reason is one of two things: it's over the 3 MB file-size cap, or it exceeds the 2000 x 2000 pxresolution limit. A full-quality phone shot often trips both. Here's how to compress and resize it to fit in one pass.
How to compress a Lazada product image with QuickWand
- Open the free image compressor and drop in your product photos.
- Set the output format to JPG — Lazada requires JPEG.
- Use Resize → Max size to cap the longest side at
2000px so you stay within Lazada's resolution ceiling. Keep it square (1:1) for the main image. - Lower the Quality slider and watch the live size estimateunder each file until it's under 3 MB.
- Download each photo, or click Download all (.zip) for the full set of up to eight images.
Lazada's real image requirements
- Maximum file size: 3 MB per image.
- Dimensions: minimum 500 x 500 px, maximum 2000 x 2000 px.
- Aspect ratio: 1:1 recommended, with the product filling at least 80% of the frame.
- Background: a 1:1 image may use a non-white background; any other aspect ratio requires a pure white background.
- Format: JPEG.
- Photo count: 3 to 8 images per listing.
The two limits work together
Lazada's 2000 x 2000 px ceiling actually makes hitting the 3 MB cap easy — once you resize to 2000 px and drop the quality to around 80%, most product photos land well under 3 MB automatically. Do the resize first, then fine-tune quality with the live estimate.
If your photo is a PNG, convert it with the PNG to JPG converter since Lazada needs JPEG. And iPhone .heic files should go through the HEIC to JPG converter before you upload.
